Pissed Off

I responded to an advertisement from Rapid Satellite. The ad was not only misleading, it was also very deceptive. I wanted to switch from cable to satellite. Their ad states 4 rooms of equipment and $39.99 per month. When I went to order the operator told me the cost would be an additional $4.95 per room per month.

My goal is to have Nick Molina,President & CEO of WebClick Concepts, Inc. or RapidSatellite.com correct their advertising, so others aren't mis-informed and deceived, or take legal action to have them honor their offer.

I would welcome any input or support from others that have had similar experience.

I am a little up-set myself with them, they told me I would get a free dvd player when I ordered my satellite, the installer acted like he knew nothing, still haven't gotten it yet either.

I am more than upset with them, I am very angry. I actually sign up with them, only to find out all that I was told was a big lie. I was told that my bill for three receivers would be 36.97. Even though I asked repeatedly about any extra charge for additional receivers I was told that there was none. Just the 36.97 a month. When it came time for the program to be activated ( after the installers drilled holes in my home for wires and such) was I told by Direct TV that I should have never been told that and that it was 4.99 for each addtional receiver plus as of this past Tuesday the price went up to 38.88. I wanted to return everything then and there. Upon hearing that the installers hi-tailed it out of my home faster that you can blink an eye. I was given Rapid Satellites number from a Direct Tv Supervisor so I could return the equipment. I talked to Takina, explained my situation, and was told that sorry it is intalled already now the equipment is considered used so you cannot return it. She said that she would e-mail customer service review board about my situation and that it would take 24 hours. I should also call back the next day if I didn't hear from them. I called only to get another person that was very rude and was of no help to me at all and that if I wanted my free DVD player it would be three months. She also told me that I had to call Direct TV because it was their problem not hers, even though I have Rapid Satellites paper thanking me for being a sucker and buying their equipment. I called back again and got at least an answer to a question or two . I found out I was again given wrong information. The e-mail was sent to the review board, but will take 48 business hours for a reply and that the free DVD player should be available after 1 month. She is going to send me the form early to fill out, or so she says. Her response about the pricing was that they have several affliates and basically are not aware of what specials they are offering. It didn't matter what they offered to begin with because once I was activiated I am a customor of Direct TV and I have to pay their fee.

The Rapid Satellite Webpage is deceptive. It says that the subscriber must have an "unobstructed view of the southern sky." I talked to "Daryl" in customer service to be sure that I was ordering the correct equipment. Since our house does have a wide open view of the southern sky, I placed the order. When the installer arrived, he said that the website was incorrect, and that I would need not just a single dish, but two dishes, and one would face southeast, and the other would face southwest. Those views are blocked by trees, and he could not install the equipment. RapidSatellite charged me $80.00 to return the equipment, even though the installer said that they should never have sold it to me in the first place! My numerous emails have gone unanswered and the customer service representative said that I was not allowed to discuss the issue with anyone at corporate, and that her supervisor was not willing to talk to me. She did not even know where "corporate" was! This company is not honest and does not treat its customers well.

Rapid Satellite did not come through with the shipping rebate or the free DVD player. should stay away from them as they are a ripoff. Didn't get an installer to my place for over a month after ordering.

i have a very upsetting story to tell. when i first called in the first thing i had said was, i want Direvt TV Programming Para Todos!!! that was the first thing i said. well, the representative, "william" who sold me the equipment forgot to mention a little thing. you have to have a certain tpe of satelitte. well, he placed the order for my stuff and i was told by him to not open the contents of my package when it arrived because if there was something missing, the installer has all the right to blame it on me. well, i did what i was told and i waited for the installer. when the installer showed up, he just took a look around and said, i can't do anything, i can't get a line of sight. he said he can put it up but it wouldn't do any good. i then told him i was going to consult our options with my husband. well, i'm not lying he literally ran to his truck as soon as i turn around to go inside! the company tried to charge me the $50 for the installer's wasted trip. after that they sent another installer who happened to be ex-military. he automatically found line of sight, got a perfect signal, and was professional. the only problem is that either he was misinformed, or he just didn't know. he asked what programming i wanted and i told him i wanted Para Todos which are spanish channels. he set it up and left. i tried looking at the programming i wanted but found out i couldn't see anything. i called Direct TV and they told me i had the correct package. after about two hours of arguing with both companies what the problem could be, i come to find out they sent me the wrong dish. it was their mistake and they were trying to charge me because "it was activated". how was i going to know they made a mistake, they're supposed to be the experts! or at least that's what they said. after paying close to $46 for a programming i didn't want for about 3 or 4 months, i finally got it fixed. and it wasn't even rapid satilite that fixed it, it was Direct TV. the supervisor for equipment and the man in charge had me at a standstill for about a week before i decided to get the big cheese involved. that's when they came out and got me a new dish, for free, not like these guys that tried to charge me even though they had about a billion recordings from the previous three months of my complaining. now, they have no idea where my request form for a shopping spree went. it has been four months and thet're still investigating. oh, but they so very nicely asked me to cooperate. a nice way of saying STOP CALLING! don't these people know the basics of supply and demand? with a business like this, it won't be long before they run out of schemes. military or not, i believe i deserve to at least watch some tv without having to worry about anythng else. this company is burned bad, and now i know why.

There was a promotion to receive a free DVD player, Digital camera or some other item plus get a shipping rebate on your equipment. This promotion was running July/August 2004. We were told to send in a copy of our 1st months bill along with the paper forms that we would be getting in the mail. Upon Rapid Satellite/Web Clicks Concepts, getting the forms completed with the copy of our bill we would then see our "FREE" choice 6-10 weeks out. I sent these forms in early October 2004. They, Rapid Sat/WebClicks, stated in Nov. 2004, quote; "We received your completed forms completed forms Nov. 8, 2004." End quote. We did not get the camera, our choice, by end Jan. 2005. To date I have called numerous times each month, and to date, July 25, 2005; we have still not received our camera or rebate. They need to be seriously looked at by the Better Business Bureau.

-Energy and Asset Technology, Inc. (EGTY) owns a global license to market
the genetically enhanced Global Cedar growth trees, with plans to
REVOLUTIONIZE the forest-timber industry.

These newly enhanced Global Cedar trees require only 9-12 years of growth before they can
be harvested for lumber, whereas worldwide growth time for lumber is 30-50 years.

Other than growing at an astonishing rate, the Global Cedar has a number of other benefits.
Its natural elements make it resistant to termites, and the lack of oils and sap found in the wood
make it resistant to forest fire, ensuring higher returns on investments.

The wood is very lightweight and strong, lighter than Poplar and over twice
as strong as Balsa, which makes it great for construction. It also has
the unique ability to regrow itself from the stump, minimizing the land and
time to replant and develop new root systems.

Based on current resources and agreements, EGTY projects revenues of $140 Million
with an approximate profit margin of 40% for each 9-year cycle. With anticipated
growth, EGTY is expected to challenge Deltic Timber Corp. during its initial 9-year cycle.

Deltic Timber Corp. currently trades at over $38.00 a share with about $153 Million in revenues.
As the reputation and demand for the Global Cedar tree continues to grow around the world
EGTY believes additional multi-million dollar agreements will be forthcoming. The Global Cedar nursery has produced
about 100,000 infant plants and is developing a production growth target of 250,000 infant plants per month.

Energy and Asset Technology is currently in negotiations with land and business owners in New Zealand,
Greece and Malaysia regarding the purchase of their popular and profitable fast growing infant tree plants.
Inquiries from the governments of Brazil and Ecuador are also being evaluated.

Conclusion:

The examples above show the Awesome, Earning Potential of little

Dear Mr. ?,

Thanks for writing. We are very sorry to hear of the problems you experienced with the installation of your DIRECTV System. Our records show that your installation was arranged by the retailer you purchased your equipment from, Webclick Concepts Inc., rather than by DIRECTV. We were hoping that you purchased your DIRECTV System from a retailer who uses our installation network. Unfortunately, Webclick Concepts Inc. uses their own network of installers. As a result, although we are keeping a record of your complaint, you should contact the retailer your purchased your system from in order to resolve any outstanding issues. You can reach Webclick Concepts Inc. at (866) 252-7811.

Thanks again for writing and stay tuned to DIRECTV.com for the latest news and information about our service.

Sincerely,

Ashley

DIRECTV FEEDBACK MESSAGE

Name: Matt ?
Status: Subscriber
[Account Number: 299XXXXX
Email Address: Topic: Other
Subject: Installation
Details: Upon installation of my service and products a mexican man showed up at my door to perform the installation. He could not speak much english and appeared to NOT know what he was doing. I am an electrican and know for a fact that our installation would be standard/basic - when he started to drill a hole in the outside of my house I knew there was a problem, I stopped but too late he had completed to hole. He then informed me that this would not be basic installation and I called and they said "yes" it would be. I tried to relay this information to him, but after he completed installation he charged me $115 - like a stupid person I paid it. He did not offer to hook up the phone line so I may order movies, so recently I went to order a movie and was told that I could not do this by phone, internet or anyway at all in my living room. Apparently they informed me that the man who did the installation had stolen my memory/access card to that system and replaced it with a used one, that was expired, therefore we are unable to order pay per view. They also informed me that this man had been apprehended!!! What the hell does that mean for me??? I would like a refund of the installation charges $115 and would like a replacement system or memory card so I may use my system to its fullest, and order pay for view if I wish. I keep getting the run around on this and feel if these issues are NOT RESOLVED soon, I will have to contact someone else who can help me. I have a year contract with you people and you expect me to get ripped off and own a system that is EXPIRED....Please resolve this issue ASAP.
Very disappointed and outraged!!!!!

I am in the process of getting Rapid Satellite out of business. I have contacted DirectTV to start the process. My installer never showed up and it has been a nightmare from there. They won't return my money until the equipment has been returned to them. They keep blamming the installer, Hurricane Wilma, the corporate office, etc. Rapid Satelite is nothing but a bunch of thieves who constantly lie and misled you about their business. I will share this website with DirectTV to give them more proof to not use Rapid Satellite as an authorized dealer of their product. Thanks for the webpage to keep the momentum going.

I to am completely unsatisfied with this service. I have had my satellite for 5 months now and have not recieved my papers I was promised with my first bill allowing me to chose between a dvd player, camera or a 1000 online shopping spree. I am pissed because this was promised to me by the lady I ordered from and the company itself. If I had seen these comments before I committed myself, I wouldn't have.

I'm more than upset with Rapid Satellite and WebClick Concepts regarding the free gift offered. This is my second attempt to get my free gift from them. The first time, they told me they wanted a copy of my first two months bill and they would send me the free gift. Now they're telling me they need three months bills. They are a bunch of LIARS and should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. I will not give up until I get my free gift from them. They will hear from me every single time until they finally do what they're supposed to do. If everyone else would do the same thing and annoy the hell out of them, we might get more results. Stand up and fight for your free gift!!!!!
